Lou Gonzalez Jr

Lou (he/she/they) has taught improv for 13 years, done it for 17 and been a damn menace the whole time. They are a staple of the UCB improv scene, hosting ASSSSCAT and are a part of weekend team Duchovny. They were head of improv in the Academic Director team at UCBNY, coached talent for Nike, Spotify, and Hulu. They taught abroad in Germany, Denmark, Paris, Amsterdam, and London. They even once did improv in their Mom’s apartment in the Bronx. Cultured Much?! Their teaching was even featured on NPR: “Taking Classes with Lou felt like more than just taking a class… I’ve found a space where it felt a little easier to be myself (with them), and it’s helped me bring a bit more of myself everywhere.”
