Everyone always says the key to game is the first unusual thing. But what if you can’t find the unusual thing? How do you get one? Do you feel like you have to force weird elements into a scene? This workshop focuses on making strong, grounded choices. We’ll work on ways to make clear, efficient choices that get you to an unusual thing quickly, rather than drifting aimlessly through the first two minutes of your scenes.

Todd Fasen

Todd Fasen has been performing since his days in preschool when he was cast as the role of Max in his preschool graduation production of Where The Wild Things Are. In 2000 he began improvising as a member of the Vassar College improv troupe boringly named Improv. Todd studied improv at both UCBTLA and IO West. He currently performs at UCBTLA and around Los Angeles with his teams Convoy and Sentimental Lady. Todd had a recurring role on the critically acclaimed FX Series Terriers, and co-created and starred in a pilot for Comedy Central. He has also appeared on The Goldbergs, Reno 911!, Conan, Key & Peele, and in various national commercials.
