Regardless of how much experience you have with improv, you’ve got a lifetime’s worth of experience with emotion. In this workshop from Alex “watches all comedy like a robot studying humans” Berg, you’ll learn how to take your natural emotional responses and use them as the foundation for choices that will fuel the game of the scene. In addition, you’ll also learn how to pay attention to your scene partners emotions, minimizing invention and maximizing organic discovery.

Alex Berg

Alex “Berg” Berg is an improviser and science nerd. On stage, he’s best known for his time with improv stalwarts Convoy, Sentimental Lady, and Sassy Bluff. Behind his back people say he’s historically handsome, fabulously wealthy, and a joy to be around. In front of his back people say things like “Please go away” or sometimes “Go away right now.” You may have seen him on TV in Terriers, Key and Peele, Reno! 911, The Goldbergs, or 2 Broke Girls. He also has a hilariously small role in Meet Dave and played a naked old lady in Hell Baby. Now he’s coming to Berlin, do with that what you will.
