Bear Milk is an international team of improvisers based in Berlin. Taking only the present moment for inspiration, Bear Milk creates a world of criss-crossing characters, stories and relationships unfolding over the course of an hour. In spotlighting the minutiae of everyday life, their shows reveal the absurdity lurking just beneath the surface.
A slice of life set in one of the strangest environments on earth: the cruise ship — a floating city of eccentric characters and unexpected corners, from the brig (jail) buried deep in the hull to the chandeliered ballroom ten decks above. Each show throws a melange of guests and crew together, bound for a destination not yet known, on a ship that won’t exist tomorrow. Drama is certain, comedy is guaranteed… because out at sea, Ship Happens.
