Action Jackson / Convoy

Action Jackson are a somewhat-international long-form improv comedy group. They perform an Armando, improvising their set from a true life monologue inspired by an audience suggestion. They have been referred to as some of the biggest improv nerds in Berlin. Action Jackson have been seen internationally at the Edinburgh Improv Festival, Reykjavik International Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon in NYC, Barcelona Improv Festival, Das Improv Festival and the Berlin Fringe.

Convoy is Alex Fernie, Alex Berg & Todd Fasen and they have been performing their brand of fast-paced and hilarious improv together for 20 years. Their weekly show at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles was described by Time Out LA as “what can happen when a few players know each other’s brains so well that they function as a very funny one” and was named “Best Improv Show” by LA Weekly. Collectively, they’ve worked in TV on shows like Reno 911!, Dropout’s Very Important People, Childrens Hospital, Terriers, Key & Peele, Last Week Tonight with Jon Oliver, Conan, Drive Share, Bajillion Dollar Propertie$, The Goldbergs and more. One of them tried to major in ghost hunting in college.
